BBO Member Feature: Zoe

This week, I want to shout about BBO superstar and long term member, Zoe 💜

Zoe is a mum of two small humans!

She works in tech (so yes… long hours, lots of sitting, lots of brain power required).

She’s running a household, raising children, juggling life…

…and still carving out time to train.

Which, if you are a mum / have a demanding job / exist in 2026… you’ll know is no small thing 🙃

Before BBO, Zoe wasn’t new to movement.

She lived in Canada for 7 years (Vancouver… so basically forced to be outdoors and wholesome at all times 🇨🇦🌲).

She trained consistently.

Barre, TRX, staying active...it was part of her life and something she genuinely enjoyed.

She knew her body. She knew how to train.

Then… she had a baby.

And as confident as you can be pre-baby, postnatal life has a way of humbling you very quickly.

Zoe joined BBO three months after having her daughter.

And even with all that experience behind her, she was unsure:

“Will I be able to keep up?”
“Is my body ready for this?”
“Why does everything feel… different?” 😅

All very normal. All very valid.

She’d been watching my TRX coaching (👀) and decided to give BBO a go.

(Smart woman, obviously.)

But jokes aside...what mattered to her was how the training was delivered.

Not random workouts. Not “just sweat for the sake of it.”

She wanted structure. Thoughtfulness. Programming that actually made sense.

(We love a woman with standards.)

And this is where Zoe’s journey gets really important.

Because she didn’t just “get back into exercise.”

She trained through two pregnancies with BBO. Pre and postnatal.

And she said:

“I’ve felt completely safe and supported the whole way through.”

Now… considering this is all online- that’s kind of the point.

You should never feel like you’re guessing your way through training.

You should feel seen, understood, and guided, even through a screen.

Especially during phases where your body is doing a lot.

Since joining, Zoe has got strong. Mega strong 💪

Consistent, capable, 'I can handle my life' strong.

Which, with two kids, is the goal 😂

She’s also been managing long-term shoulder pain.

And instead of ignoring it (classic for many of us) or avoiding training altogether (also classic)…

She’s found that middle ground.

Training in a way that supports her body, building strength around the issue, so it continues to improve her day-to-day life.

Revolutionary, I know!!

And let’s talk about her day-to-day for a second.

She’s got two young children, she works a desk job, she is ON.

All the time (especially with two tiny humans running around!)

So the strength she’s building is a differnet kind of strength.

It’s for life- a resilience of mind and body.

Picking up kids. Carrying things. Existing without aches and pains. Not feeling like a crumpled prawn after a day at the laptop 🦐

“With BBO classes, I feel strong, capable, and able to keep up with a busy household.”

That’s the win- especially given that media likes to shame women into 'bouncing back', ignoring their intuition and safety postnatally.

Let's not forget the desk life (if you know, you know).

The tight hips, the cranky shoulders, the “why does my neck feel 87 years old” situation.

BBO has helped her undo a lot of that.

She moves better. Feels better. Has less pain.

Again- not by doing more…

…but by doing the right things, consistently.

And then there’s this bit, which I love:

“I feel happier, more energetic, and more confident. From managing a busy home to simply feeling more comfortable and confident in my clothes.

It’s had a really positive ripple effect across everything I do.”

Your physical training should have a direct impact on how you show up in life- in a positive way!

In your work. At home. In your clothes. In your own skin.

That quiet confidence that creeps back in when you feel physically capable again?

Elite- there is NO feeling like it!

Zoe said something that sums up Body Bond up perfectly:

“It meets you where you are, while still helping you progress.”

No drama. No extremes. No “all or nothing.”

Just smart training that fits into a very full life.

And honestly- that’s Zoe.

She’s showing up, consistently, in a busy season of life… and building strength that actually supports it.

And when she misses a class due to childcare/ sickness/ time constraints, the resilience she has built allows her to accept and move on!

THAT is the progress that we hope to achieve with all members of BBO, especially the mummas!

Zoe, you are an absolute powerhouse (even if you won’t say that about yourself).

Thank you for trusting me through pregnancies, postnatal phases, injuries, life chaos… all of it.

And thank you for showing what real consistency looks like.

Not perfect (life rarely is!)

Just steady, strong, and getting it done 🙌
