BBO Member Feature: Tashy G
In this week’s blog post, I want to spotlight the amazing Natasha (aka Tashy G)!
Natasha has been a Body Bond Online member since 2020.
She trained professionally as a dancer... a gruelling, physically demanding pathway that requires discipline, endurance and an incredibly high pain threshold.
She knows her body inside out.
She understands hard work- her ballet teacher made sure of that!
She has pushed it to its limits (and beyond!)
Alongside that background, she now runs her own performing arts school, Born 2 Boogie, in North West London.
She leads a team, mentors young performers, choreographs, teaches, and manages the realities of running a business.
She has a full schedule, high standards and her energy is in demand (for anyone who teaches children/ has children, you will know this!)
And yet, 6 years on, she is still training consistently.
I interviewed Tashy G recently and she said...
“After graduating dance college, the gym just felt like a chore. With BBO, I genuinely look forward to my workouts...and that still surprises me.”
For someone who has experienced elite-level physical training, that shift is significant.
Because she no longer wants to train to exhaustion- gruelling workouts that take more than they give.
She wants intelligent online workouts.
She shared something that captures this perfectly:
“I feel truly listened to. If I’m injured or not feeling my best, there’s always a way to do something rather than nothing – physically and emotionally.”
That’s the evolution!
When you’ve pushed your body hard (whether through dance, sport, career stress, pregnancy, or simply years of intensity) you begin to value training that is deliberate, structured and sustainable.
Training shouldn't be a punishment, random or reactive.
But progressive and respectful of where your body is at each day.
When you’re also building and running a business, efficiency matters.
Your workouts need to be timely and effective...not another drain on your schedule.
Tashy also admitted:
“I wasn’t sure an at-home workout could match an in-person class… but Charlotte makes it feel like she’s right there with you – there’s no hiding from a plank!”
This is why our programming is built in phases.
Why we prioritise joint integrity and progression.
Why we adapt around busy seasons instead of abandoning consistency.
Long-term strength is only achieved by smart programming.
“I never expected BBO to become part of my lifestyle – but it fits seamlessly into my life, and I honestly see it being part of it forever.”
That’s what longevity looks like.
Training that supports ambition.
Strength that protects a well-used body.
Coaching that evolves as your life evolves.
And her story is relevant to all of you.
Whether you trained intensely in your 20s, are navigating midlife changes, rebuilding after setbacks, or simply trying to stay ahead of a demanding schedule... the goal is the same...
Strength that supports your next decade (not just this month.)
Your body is carrying your ambition...it deserves training that respects that 💜
So, if you’re local to North West London and looking for an exceptional performing arts school, I genuinely recommend Born 2 Boogie (Tashy does THE most amazing kids parties- she even dresses up as your childs fav disney character- can I book a party as an adult?? 🤣👀!)
Natasha brings the same discipline, creativity and care to her students that she brings to her own training.
Thank you, Tashy G (I feel weird calling her Natasha- much too formal), for showing that strength doesn’t have to be extreme to be effective.
And thank you to every one of you building full, busy, ambitious lives (and choosing to train in a way that supports that).
That’s where real longevity is built.🙌
Charlotte
